Russian studio's strategic shutdown has been confirmed by Connective Games
The global poker software developer Connective Games has conducted a strategic review of its business operations across the world in an effort to "secure its business flows" in the current tense international climate. This was done in response to the fact that the international climate is currently tense. As a direct result of this, the company has come to the conclusion that it will pull out of Russia altogether and close its studio there.
Connective Games issued a statement that confirmed the closure and added that the choice to leave from Russia had not been an easy one to make owing to the company's origins in the nation. According to the statement, the first development studio for the organization was established in Russia. But, given the conditions that exist now, it is not practical nor sustainable to continue doing so.
The firm further distanced itself from the controversy by stating, "Connective Games has never targeted the Russian market and has always prioritized markets in Asia, Latin America, and Europe."
In addition, it stated that "the closing of the studio is the result of a strategic choice made by the firm quite some time ago, which has been driven by the present situation." On the other hand, new geographic areas make it possible to maintain superior logistics, increase the company's presence in certain jurisdictions, and reduce the likelihood of potential business hazards.
The company has its headquarters in Malta, and it has previously announced that it will be opening new offices across Europe and the Middle East. These new offices, which include locations in Serbia, Turkey, and Armenia, will be used by the company to continue providing online poker game and platform solutions to the international gaming market.
In conclusion, the company declared as follows: "Connective Games has always been pursuing Asian, Latin American, and European markets, all of which offer huge potential for our company." We currently have strong partners in these jurisdictions, and we intend to grow even further into them with both our new and existing goods.
